Hello Xoe Ayana! It's so nice to chat with you. Your LAFW show was such a moment. How did it feel standing backstage knowing all your hard work was about to hit the runway?
It felt surreal! Each garment was handpicked and matched together, and seeing the vision I created in my mind come to life backstage was such a huge accomplishment.
Every piece from Sunset and Blvd had its own personality. What inspired the colors, details, and overall vibe for this collection?
I wanted to create an outlet for anyone who wants to keep their wardrobe stylish while integrating their personality with the clothes. I chose colors that felt vibrant, added details that made each piece stand out, and created a vibe that is Sunset Blvd ready. That is what clothes are all about. Finding your style, trying new pieces, playing with colors and details, and adding your own kick to it.
The models totally brought your vision to life. What was it like seeing them own the red carpet and runway in your designs?
They all did so amazing bringing the vision to life! Each fit was perfect for each model. Watching them step into fashion week without knowing their outfits, trust the show process, and still love the final look made the moment unforgettable. Creating a full runway show is a huge achievement.

What part of the process made you feel the most proud?
The moment that made me feel the most proud was seeing everything come together on show day. Watching the models walk the red carpet and runway with so much pride and confidence showed me that the entire creative process was worth it. It reminds me why I created Sunset and Blvd!
Fashion week can feel like a whirlwind. What was your favorite behind the scenes memory that fans would love to hear about?
While the models and I were backstage getting ready for showtime, we had to practice their model walk. We did a walk through first, and since they are already models, they were already amazing! Seeing them add their own twist when they posed and flowed through their walk was so amazing to watch. It really showed how passionate they are about modeling and how much they have been practicing on their own.
You made the audience fall in love with Sunset and Blvd. What message did you hope people would take away from your show?
I hoped the show encouraged everyone to step outside the box, try new ideas, and have fun with their style.
Now that LAFW was such a success, what dreams are you excited to chase next for your brand?
New York Fashion Week in February is our next stop! 2026 is going to be full of Fashion Weeks, partnerships, pop-up shops, and so much more. You may even see Sunset & Blvd on the Sunset Strip!
