Hey Everyone. My post for today will be about the 3 phone apps most used by teens. I thought about the apps that I use the most and asked my friends what they use the most. With all of the information I gathered from myself and my friends, I came up with a list.
Hey Everyone. My post for today will be about the 3 phone apps most used by teens. I thought about the apps that I use the most and asked my friends what they use the most. With all of the information I gathered from myself and my friends, I came up with a list.
#1 Snapchat
One of our most used apps is Snapchat. Snapchat is an easy way to share photos quickly with your friends. All you have to do is snap a picture and send it to a specific friend or post it on your story for all of your friends to see. You can also have private conversations with any of your friends on the app. Video and photo text which we refer to as “Snaps” will disappear in a matter of seconds, but please be careful about what you “snap”, because any photo that you share could possibly be saved as a screenshot. Snapchat also has some really cool filters that can be applied to your photos.
A couple of Snapchat terms, and what they mean: {Stories} = can tell about what was going on throughout the day or at a particular event through pictures and video
{Snapback} = is the reply you receive when someone replies to your snap
#2 Instagram
The second most used apps by my friends and I would be Instagram, the “Gram” for short. Instagram is an app for sharing your photos, and your videos all conveniently from your smartphone. When scrolling through your Instagram it is easy to like other people’s photos or videos simply by double tapping the image. We love Instagram because it is a quick and easy way to share pictures with people all over the world. You can also directly message anyone you would like even if you don’t follow them or vice versa. You can take a photo directly on Instagram or upload one and add any selected filters to it. From there you can add a caption, and hashtags, and/or tag anyone to your post.
#3 Facebook
The third most used app by us is Facebook. Facebook is a way f or teens to stay connected with friends who live out of state or across the country. You can share photos, videos, and statuses to let people know what you think are shareable or funny. It also lets them know what is currently going on in your life. You have the ability to like, comment, and share pictures and videos that your friends have posted. There are different reactions that you can have regarding a post, simply by pressing the like button and sliding your finger to the desired reaction.
